The Venera 13 and 14 mass spectrometers measured the chemical and isotopic composition of the minor constituents of the Venus atmosphere to higher sensitivity than had been achieved on the Venera 11 and 12 missions. The isotope ratio Ne-20/Ne-22 = 11.8 exceeds the value in the terrestrial atmosphere but is lower than on the sun. The Kr and Xe-131 + Xe-132 abundances are in the 10-100 ppb range.
