The existence of two groups of chemically peculiar stars with different relationships between the magnetic field and the amount of flux depression at 5200 A is suspected. Stars whose amount of depression is weakly dependent on the magnetic field values have significantly greater radial velocity values while their other observational characteristics do not differ from those for the main group of stars. Hypotheses on the origin of flux depressions are discussed.
