A two-fluid hydrodynamical model describing the modification of a stellar wind flow owing to its interaction with Galactic cosmic rays is investigated. The cosmic rays are coupled to the stellar wind by scattering with hydromagnetic waves or irregularities propagating in the backgrouund flow. A one-fluid polytropic model is used to describe the thermal stellar wind gas. The cosmic rays are considered to be a hot, low-density gas with negligible mass flux, but with a significant pressure and energy flux. The solutions are shown to possess a line of singularities in (r,u,Pc)-space, where r, u, and Pc denote the radial distance from the star, the radial wind flow speed, and the cosmic-ray pressure, respectively. Astrophysical applications are briefly discussed.
