Visual, photographic and radio observations of the 1980 Geminid meteor shower are analysed. The large sample of visual data enables accurate conclusions on shower rates and magnitude distribution to be drawn, and the results compared with previous work. Approximate times of maximum activity for photographic and radio Geminids are also determined. Brief reference is made to persistent trains.
