First of all, the visibility of such satellites is discussed, together with the method of prediction. Secondly, we consider the techniques for making the observations. Finally, we assess the accuracy with which the subsatellite position can be derived from an analysis of the observations. It is found that the subsatellite longitude can be obtained with an accuracy of about +/-120 metres.
