A numerical simulation of the evolution of a stellar disk system has been carried out. The results show that the ring formation depends mainly on the initial distribution of particles of a disk system and also on the mass of the halo. The time scale for ring formation is very short. This agrees with the conclusion of Athanassula's analysis and Schwarz's calculation.
