It has been discovered that fast-streaming high-conductivity solar-wind plasma screens the heliosphere from the penetration of interstellar electric and magnetic fields. The simplest model with constant solar-wind conductivity and radial velocity is used, and the boundary electrodynamic problem for static external fields in the heliosphere is solved. The screening of the external fields is shown to occur according to the exponential law.
