Until recently very little was known about the age the globular clusters of the Galactic Bulge, as a combination of crowding, differential reddening, and distance made turnoff photometry beyond the reach of ground based observations. Using WFPC2 we have been able to demonstrate that the two best resolved, least reddened, high metallicity clusters in the Galactic Bulge are at least as old as the inner halo cluster 47 Tuc. Extending the same dating procedure to other bulge clusters is now required to accurately reconstruct the star formation history of the Bulge, thus distinguishing among competing scenarios for its formation and helping to settle the issue as to whether the central or the outer regions of the Galactic Spheroid formed first. However, the differential reddening and crowding of the other members of this class are so severe as to require to combine high angular resolution and near IR sensitivity over an adequate field of view, something that only NICMOS is currently able to deliver. A sample of four clusters, selected from our systematic study of bulge clusters will be observed with NICMOS in J and H, thus determining the luminosity difference between the horizontal branch and the turnoff. This will allow relative ages to be determined for the program clusters. One bulge cluster {NGC 6528} for which we have already WFPC2 data will also be observed with NICMOS in order to ensure a link with our previous optical photometry, and connect this relative age scale to that of the halo clusters.
