To make a very deep high-resolution image in V and I covering thelocation of the optical transient and the nearby 'companion' usingthe WFPC2. The immediate goals of our observation are:(i) To constrain the magnitude of the variable object to thedeepest possible flux levels that can be reached in a reasonableexposure time.(ii) To obtain the best morphological information on the 'companion'.The data will have no proprietary period.
