Hst Proposal Id #7442 Young Stars And Circumstellar Material

Scientific paper

We propose to use NICMOS to study the circumbinary disk structure around GG Tau. The primary purpose of these observations is to ascertain whether or not the gap between the circumbinary and circumstellar disk is devoid of material or in fact contains filaments which can transfer mass to the inner disks that would otherwise be rapidly depleted of material.
