These images observe the Paschen Alpha emission, the continuum distribution and the polarizaton properties of a region centered near AFGL 437N. The Paschen alpha emission will locate and measure the phtoionization around Zero Age Main Sequence Stars and protostars. The continuum measurements will measure the distribution of matter about the region and locate the stars in the evolutionary time or birthline of the stars. The polarization measurements will separate the reflected emission from the true emission in the nebula and identify the main exciting star of the region, thought to be a deeply embedded star WK 34, a component of AFGL 437N. The higher spatial resolution of NICMOS will determine if this is the correct component and measure the flows near the star as indicated by the direction of the polarization vectors.
