Polarimetric images of NGC 1068 at 1 and 2 microns will be made with NICMOS, and compared with corresponding visible data taken with HST. Such images provide unique constraints on the structure and emission mechanisms in the galaxy. Comparison with the optical polarimetry will help to understand the relative importance of mechanisms which produce the polarization, such as a} scattering from unaligned dust grains, b} dichroic extinction from aligned dust grains, either intrinsic to the source or along the line-of-sight, and c} scattering from free electrons, which may be associated with hot winds. Polarization from the latter mechanism is independent of wavelength, while a} and b} depend on wavelength.
