Earth Atmosphere: Earth Rotation

Scientific paper

Parameters of harmonics with frequencies of diurnal and semidiurnal tides are determined. Amplitudes of diurnal (≡1 μs) and semidiurnal (≡0.5 μs) variations of UT1 as well as the amplitudes of variations in polar motion caused by atmospheric tides are found. Corrections to the amplitudes of nutational harmonics are obtained.
