Interaction between magnetized plasma and cyclotron radiation is investigated. Joint action of collisions and radiative transitions between Landau levels on electron distribution is considered. The transfer equation for cyclotron radiation is derived and its solutions for the limiting cases of quasi-homogeneous and strongly inhomogeneous magnetic field are found. The case of a strongly inhomogeneous magnetic field is analogous to Sobolev's approximation in the theory of stellar atmospheres. Radiation pressure on plasma in cyclotron lines is compared with the continuum radiation pressure. The results were used to investigate coronal plasma of isolated magnetic white dwarfs, accreting plasma above the hot spot of X-ray pulsars, and electron-positron plasma in the region of annihilation line formation of gamma-burst sources.
