Scientific paper

A method is developed for the identification of population transfer paths between the energy levels of a quantum system located in given nonequilibrium physical conditions. Particular attention is given to the population transfer in CH3OH-E in Orion's maser sources. The search for the paths of population transfer can be reduced to the transport problem; methods are proposed for its solution.
