Rate coefficients have been calculated for temperatures up to 10 000 K for the mutual neutralization of Li^+ and H^- from cross-section calculations based on ab initio molecular potentials and couplings. Landau-Zener estimates are provided for the corresponding reaction in Li^- and H^+. Comparison is made with the results for the H^+/H^- reaction.
