In recent work at CTIO we have observed 28 globular clusters in integrated light using the Stroemgren system. Age and metal content are well correlated with the color indices b-y and v-y. Additional cluster data are to be acquired in order to tie down these calibrations. Our observations of 22 dwarf elliptical nucleated (dE,N) galaxies in the Fornax cluster show the same correlations. In order to finally answer this question we would like to complete the globular cluster observations and add more data on dE,N galaxies in two additional clusters.
