Published data and size measurement of the H-II regions and dark clouds are used to estimate distances of 42.66 + or 2.51 kpc for LMC, 89.73 + or - 5.03 kpc for SMC, and 755.11 + or - 47.14 kpc for M33. The method provides a means to test the accuracy of the distance through the sizes of the Stromgren spheres, and its geometrical character results in distance estimates of greater accuracy than those derived based on photometric measurements.
