21-cm line data from several authors (including the authors' own observations) are considered within an extensive region in Sco-Oph containing the Sco OB2 association. From a coarse analysis of the data the authors conclude that most of the gas is local and associated with the interstellar gas belonging to Gould's belt. A qualitative plot of the distribution of this gas is well compatible with a sequential star-formation in the Sco-Cen association as suggested by Blaauw (1964).
