The author reports resolved rotational structure in emission of the γarcmin system of TiO in the λ6185 - 6240 Å region on echelle spectra of VY CMa. Other emission lines are neutral H, Na, K I, Ca, Ti, Cr, Fe, and possibly Ba. The measured radial velocities are compared with the velocities of microwave maser emission, and their utility in the development of the moving dust model of Van Blerkom and Van Blerkom (1978) is noted.
