A series of nonlinear Cepheid models were calculated with the DYN code. The models were used to extend to light curves the conclusion, based on velocity curves, that the observations of Cepheids cannot be matched unless the mass is significantly reduced (assuming a homogeneous composition). It is concluded that observed light curves are considerably more complex than previously thought. The light and velocity curves that were calculated should be useful guides for interpreting the observations.
