Eighteen model envelopes are calculated for cool giant stars that experience mass loss as a result of radiation pressure on gas molecules and dust grains. Mass-loss rates of 100 billionths, 1 millionth, and 10 millionths of a solar mass are assumed, and mean values of several envelope parameters are computed. Radial density profiles and lower limits to the envelope column densities are obtained for OH, H2O, and SiO. The efficiency of molecular radiation pressure as a mass-loss mechanism for late M giants is considered.
