Observations of the Be star Omicron Cas show it to be variable in the
infrared; comparison with visual spectroscopy suggests that the infrared
variations are correlated with variations in the Balmer emission lines.
The photometric and spectroscopic variations are ascribed to variations
in the ionized gas surrounding the star.
