The history of optical variability has been investigated for three Seyfert galaxies. All three of these galaxies, Markarian 464, Markarian 766, and Markarian 841, were found to be variable with ranges between 1.0 and 2.0 mag. One of these galaxies, Markarian 766, exhibits significant variability on a time scale of days. Thus, the optical variability for this galaxy is similar to that observed for BL Lacertae objects.
