The All-Sky Monitor on board the Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer provides sensitive measurements of the flux of a large number of sources and has now been operating for over three years. We present a review of the status of our program to investigate activity and orbital periods in high-mass X-ray binaries. Results will include a discussion on the Be star system RX J0812.4-3114 for which ASM observations indicate that the source is currently in an active state with outbursts at approximately 80 day intervals. For several sources observations have also been obtained with the RXTE Proportional Counter Array which can yield pulse period measurements.
