The third EGRET (3EG) catalog lists 66 strong blazar detections by EGRET and an additional 27 possible detections during Phases 1, 2, and 3, and Cycle 4 of the Compton Gamma Ray Observatory (CGRO) mission. We will summarize the properties of these blazars in terms of their flux variations, spectral indices, luminosity, and redshift distributions. We will also compare the properties of the blazars seen by EGRET with those of the unidentified EGRET sources in the 3EG catalog.
