We present results of a very long EUVE observation of the AGN 1H0419-577. The light curve spans 25 days nearly continuously at a level rarely less than 0.07 count/s in the Lexan/C band of the DS imaging detector, among the few brightest AGN in this band. The highly oversampled light curve has very little variation on time scales less than 1 day and is characterized by 1-2 day flares about 20-30% above the baseline count rate at intervals of 3-5 days. A more sparsely sampled two month observation using the ROSAT HRI showed a gradual brightening of a factor of 3 and some hints of large intra-day variations. The low frequency power is weak during the EUVE observation but the ROSAT observation shows that this situation may arise by chance during one 20 day sample of the light curve. The EUVE SW spectrum of the AGN is dominated by a continuum cut off at 85 Angstroms due to ISM absorption. While there appear to be spectral line features about 1 Angstroms wide, these are likely to be spurious (but are not detector features), based on comparisons to previous EUVE spectra of AGN. The spectrum of a new AM Her star that happens to lie within 4 arcmin of the AGN is also dominated by a continuum but is cut off at 120 Angstroms due to reduced ISM absorption.
