An analysis of data from the Lunar Meteorite Compendium shows that a
significant fraction of lunar meteorite source craters are less than
hundreds of meters in diameter; cryptomaria are abundant in the
highlands; and the meteorite mare basalt ages fill the gaps in the
Apollo/Luna basalt age distribution.
