Galaxy position angle distribution studies embrace a simplistic interpretation of two-dimensional position angles. This poster discusses the drawbacks of analyzing spirals and ellipticals using identical criteria. Possible improvements will be discussed along with some specific cases in determining a position angle. Finally, a comparison of computer-based algorithm versus human eye- based position angles is presented.
