A catalog of structural properties for over 3,000 faint galaxies has been derived from pre-refurbishment Hubble Space Telescope observations of random sky areas as a part of the Medium Deep Survey, an HST Key Project. Exposures are taken in two passbands, F555W ( ~ V ) and F785LP ( ~ I ), and have typical length ranging from 1,000 to 14,000 s. Objects are identified down to typical magnitudes V ~ 24 and I ~ 23 , and a fitting algorithm based on maximum likelihood is used to determine PSF-corrected sizes, magnitudes, colors, axis ratios, and orientations of galaxies, without explicit use of deconvolution algorithms. Galaxies are fitted as spirals or ellipticals; if sufficiently bright, it is usually possible to classify them between the two. Preliminary results from post-refurbishment observations are also included.
