Many N II forbidden line profiles have been obtained from the H II region IC 1795/W3/, and splitting of more than 50 km/s has been found over a large area on the edge of the nebula. An N II forbidden line radial velocity map is presented, and compared with the corresponding radio recombination and molecular velocities. Broadening of N II forbidden line profiles has also been discovered in the vicinity of the molecular cloud in the H II region NGC 2264.
