Probable member stars of the α Per cluster have been checked by Palomar Schmidt astrometric observations in a range of magnitude 7 to 12 and in an area of 5° × 5°. The membership of stars already assigned to the cluster on the basis of their proper motions is confirmed mainly for stars brighter than visual magnitude 11. This result is not contradictory with modern astrographic observations.
