We have determined the position of pulsar XTE J0052-725 from an analysis of archive Chandra data. This source was detected by RXTE on June 19 and 26, 2002 and the results were published in IAUC #7932. We noted that there was an X-ray source at R.A. = 00h52m09.1s Decl. = -72º338m03s (equinox 2000), with a 90% confidence radial uncertainty of 0.6 arcsec, in Chandra Observation ID 2946 which took place between 2002-07-04 06:47:00 and 2003-07-09 10:37:01.
