The authors present MOKA2 (Mitaka Okayama Kiso Archival system 2), a newly developed observational data archival system on the World Wide Web. MOKA2 inherits its basic concept and framework from MOKA1 which was formerly developed; and besides, it adopts FORM/CGI (Common Gateway Interface) as its fundamental architecture for the user interface. Consequently, a larger number of users can access, search and retrieve the information of the archival data easily via the Internet. After describing its technical details and usage, together with the status of its operations, the authors discuss its future requirement and improvement, and some critical issues around releasing observational data to the public.
