The formation time of IIAB iron meteorites is resolved. IIA samples were chosen to cover the whole range of Ir concentrations in order to obtain the maximum range in the Re/Os ratio. For the IIB subgroup, samples were confined to Ir contents greater than 0.05 ppm to avoid higher uncertainty introduced by the R blank. Re-Os expermental results for the IIB meteorites along with previously published IIA isochron are shown.
