The indigeneity of PAH in meteorites is addressed on the basis of
evidence from the isotopic compositions of individual molecules. Free
aromatic compounds, and aromatics released by hydrous pyrolysis are
examined. The meteorites considered are Cold Bokkeveld, Vigarano,
Ornans, Orgueil, and Bishunpur.
