We have monitored the timing of the Crab Pulsar in the X-ray band with RXTE since the start of the mission in January 1996. The X-ray primary pulse leads its radio counterpart by 0.10 in phase, or 300 μ s. The variation in this lag is small, but a further study of the radio timing ephemerides is required to derive more meaningful limits. The separation of the primary and secondary pulses is unchanging at 0.399 period. And there is no apparent variation in these values with energy over the 2-100 keV range. A fourth order fit (i.e., including the third derivative of the pulse frequency) to the X-ray pulse arrival time between MJD 50260 (June 1996) and 51450 (October 1999) reveals variations similar to what previously has been found in radio data, with a total range of about 10 ms. We are currently collecting timing information following the significant glitch of July 2000 and hope to present analysis results at the meeting. This work has been supported by NASA grant NAG5-7346.
