A long-duration X-ray burst from SLX 1735-269 was detected at 2:17 UT on 20 June 2005 by WXM and FREGATE onboard HETE-2. This burst lasted at least for 24 minutes until the spacecraft made a slew. The long duration of this burst suggests that this event belongs to the class of so-called "superbursts". A superburst from this source had been detected 644 days before by INTEGRAL on 15, Sep. 2003 (Molkov et al.
