Recent researches on clusters of galaxies have unveiled new spectral components, namely a cluster soft excess discovered by EUVE and a nonthermal X-ray excess at energies above ~20 keV with respect to the thermal emission from the hot intracluster gas. We present the results of the observations performed by BeppoSAX regarding the detection of the hard excess in some clusters of galaxies up to about 80 keV and discuss the future observations with BeppoSAX and XMM-Newton.
