Results of a recently developed general method of finding resonant periodic orbits in three-body systems are presented. With the goal of obtaining an understanding of the structure of orbital resonances, first random searches have been carried out to find resonant orbits. Once such an orbit is identified, a family of them can be found using the method of continuation. In this, by varying the masses, the resulting changes in resonant orbits were followed. We also present the results of a comprehensive study of the stability of these resonant orbits. This study provides information about stable configurations in real systems as well as ejections of planets in unstable ones.
