The evolution of the density inhomogeneity in a gravitating medium is considered with allowance for the influence of surrounding inhomogeneities. In the framework of a spatially flat Friedmann model, it is shown that the collective stochastic gravitational field of the density fluctuations can significantly change the evolutionary rate of density contrasts. The scale of the spatial correlation of the fluctuations is estimated.
