The CO luminosity function of galaxies derived previously by Verter (1983, 1987) is reevaluated with a larger sample drawn from the portion of the FCRAO Extragalactic CO Survey satisfying the optical-threshold (B super 0T) = 12 mag condition. It is found that the newly derived CO luminosity function is consistent with previous galaxy luminosity functions in the blue and infrared, and with correlations between L(CO) and L(B) or L(IR).
