Vashkoviak's (1986) numerical-analytical method is used to investigate the evolution of satellite orbits with semimajor axes of l00,000-200,000 km for time periods of 5-10 years. The results obtained with this method are compared with results of the numerical integration of rigorous equations of satellite motion with allowance for lunar and solar perturbation effects. The range of eccentricities and inclinations is determined for a 10-year period for initial almost-circular orbits with semimajor axes of 125,000 and 160,000 km.
