Using all available data from the ROSAT All Sky Survey and the Pointed Source Catalogue the authors studied the radio to X-ray properties of all X-ray quasars from the Veron-Veron catalogue. The combined source list thus consists of the largest sample of X-ray detected quasars to date. The authors discuss the soft X-ray properties of these objects and their broad-band energy distribution with respect to class-specific properties.
