The authors have investigated the radio and X-ray properties of 71 sources found in common in two surveys of the LMC, made with the Parkes radio telescope and ROSAT All-Sky Survey (RASS). Twenty eight of these sources are background objects and the other 43 discrete sources belong to the LMC (SNRs and H II regions). The authors investigate the statistics of all known SNRs in the LMC.
