SS433 was observed contemporaneously in X-ray and optical bands with ASCA and numerous ground-based observatories in April-May 1995 for a full binary period. The preliminary results from these observations are presented. The authors detected 6.4-d modulation in the Doppler shifts of the moving emission lines, both in X-ray and optical bands. The upper limit for the distance of the optical emission region from the base of the jet was determined for the first time on the basis of the time delay of the optical Doppler shift modulation from that of X-rays. The binary light curves of the various components in the X-rays as well as in the V-band were obtained and compared.
