The oscillations of a prominence, suspended on magnetic field lines at the tops of coronal magnetic arches, including the active region heating effect, are investigated. It has been shown that the heating leads to a decrease of the oscillation period. Such a temperature dependence of the oscillations can be applied to active region plasma temperature diagnostics using pre-flare variations of the solar X-ray and microwave emission.
