Results on a deconvolution of the optical jet of M87 from a digitized photography are given. The resolution is better, but the smoothness is lower in the minimum-information-method (MIM) than in the maximum-entropy-method (MEM). The bright knots in the jet are practically pointlike (extension not more than 1/2 the width of the PSF), with little surrounding extended emission, except in the centre.
