A network access interface has been developed to astronomical CD-ROMs image data at Astronomical Data Analysis Center of the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan. The interface offers a couple of unique functions such as to identify galaxies listed in the "Catalogue of Principal Galaxies" visually on a Digitized Sky Survey (DSS) image, and to accept a mass request to DSS images via e-mail which is processed in a batch mode.
