Observations of (433) Eros made during the close approaches of 1975 and
1981/1982 have been analysed. Values for the photometric parameters were
not derived as, given the amplitude of brightness variation, the errors
were too great. A synodic rotation period of 5.270 hours and amplitude
of 1.0 magnitudes was derived from visual observations in 1975.
